In 2006, HSRA hosted IGRA Finals. The event was successful, but the association was losing members and interest locally, was waning. To date that was the last rodeo held in Reno.

HSRA did not send a Trustee this year to represent itself on the IGRA Board. This puts in question the viability of the organization.
