Notes:
- The nine flag stripes are alternating red and white. The top and bottom stripes are red. Note that some representations of the logo leave off the top (piece of a) stripe, so always start coloring from the bottom (in red).
- The field behind the rider is French (or china) blue (NOT royal blue).
- The stars in the field are white. The stars are numbered one to thirteen, number one being the first star to the right of the bronc rider's head. Stars 1,2,3,4,7,8,9 and 10 are unobstructed (on top in the design). Stars 5 and 6 are under the horse's head (but 6 is over its body). Star 11 is almost totally obstructed by the rider's hand and hat. Star 12 is barely obstructed by the rider's shoulder. And star 13 is partly obstructed by the rider's neck handkerchief and head.
- The States in ASGRA's territory are represented by the 1st(DE), 3rd(NJ), 7th(MD), 10th(VA) and 11th(NY) stars, associated with their order of ratification of the Constitution and entry into the Union.
- The bronc rider is black. It is of uncertain gender.
- The rope trim is gold. Where possible, it should be comprised of overlapping pieces to represent an unbroken right-handed (spiraling clockwise as one follows its circular path in a clockwise direction) circle of rope.
- The rider's hat and horse's right rear leg cross out of the circle created by the rope. The horse's tail touches the circle.
