Beer Pong anyone?? Wow or WOW!! I don't even know where to begin. Perhaps something like holly s--t. You think you know what you've gotten yourself into when you take on a task such as the President of CGRA, but let me tell you........ You have NO idea. Just when you think maybe I'll take and slow down a bit for this next month you realize everything you have going on and its once again that time to summons the troops and bring them all up to date. So I'll give it my best shot.

I couldn't move forward this month without first looking back to a FUN filled November. I do mean FUN filled. We had our first Friday meeting to change things up a bit and it was sure great to see so many of you out with us. Then there was convention. CGRA, my hat is off to you all once again. What a great delegation we had put together. You all represented the thoughts and comradory of a great organization. For those of you who didn't or couldn't attend convention this year you should be proud of those who did represent you. CGRA rocks and they seemed to be able to put down a fair amount of distilled beverages, too. Who would have ever thought that?

Land the plane, go to work for a couple of days and then Hello 2011 Royalty. A great night. I can't tell each and everyone of you all the positive feedback that I have received about our "Royalty Show" and a "Night of Sharing". Again something for each of you to be proud of. There is a lot of talk around the community about CGRA is back. These are the types of comments that make it all worth while. Hats off to Mr. CGRA 2010 Dan Rutledge and Miss CGRA 2010 Rebecca Tucker. The two of you have represented us well. Then there's the recognition of our 10 yr. past Royalty. Miss Bianca St. John and Mr. Robert Flores. We look forward to working with the both of you this year as we celebrate all you have done and keep doing for this organization. Then the moment of the crowning of our new Mr. and Miss. Congratulations to Rocky Buruse and Tracey Lee Saunders. You both were outstanding as contestants and I sure look forward to a successful year ahead of us. Did I mention we also took the time to give back to our community and Charity Partners $19,523.60. CGRA you need to stand up and pat yourselves on the back. Go ahead, I'll wait a minute for you.........Last but not least, a big Thank You to Clyde Mitter and Rich Valdez for all of your hard work in making this such a huge success.

Then it was time for rest. Not so fast...... Thanksgiving Day. I truly hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and shared the day with family and friends.

Now let's look at what we have going on. Remember this is the month that I thought maybe we could just slide through. Silly, silly, silly. This is your reminder that our next meeting is this FRIDAY, December 10th. BOD meets at 6pm and General Membership follows at 8pm. Don't worry Mary and Rick I'll call you.

I had put out an earlier e-mail talking about our RMRR Poster Contest. Well I'm gonna extend the deadline for your entries to the January 7th meeting. With all that was going on last month the notice seemed to be a bit short. This will allow each of you more time for your "Get in the Truck" Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo Posters. I can't wait to see your thoughts and ideas. We also have our annual CGRA night at Charlie's. Tommy Channel put out an e-mail about that to each of you for the night of the 14th of December. Please volunteer you services to him on that. He will have more about that this Friday at the meeting.

Now for other important matters. See what I was saying, "Work work work"!! If you have an organization that is interested in becoming a Charity Partner for the 2011 year with us they will have two chances to present there needs to us. We will hear some of your nominations this Friday at the meeting and others at the January 7th meeting. We will be voting on our Charity Partners for the 2011 year at that January meeting. There are also some interesting By-Law changes being submitted for consideration. Those that are Standing Rules will be read and voted on at this Friday's meeting and those that are changes to the By-Laws will have first reading this Friday, to be voted on in January. Then there's our 2011 Gymkhana Schedule. I'm telling you, you don't want to miss this meeting. Okay fine miss it. We're gonna just pretend you were there and get'r done anyways.

Half an hour and two cocktails later, by golly, I think I've got it all. Please Cowboys and Cowgirls if there is anything you want to talk about or have me bring up to the board don't hesitate to call. 303-304-7771. Or e-mail me at I take pride in getting back to you. Come on along and get involved and experience what the excitement is all about

.

Thanks for you time today.
