Our Grand Marshals for the 1st Annual Gateway Regional Rodeo are John Knowles and Gary Johnson, owners of Magnolia's Bar. Gary and John have been serving the St. Louis gay community for the past 26 years. Both of these men have been instrumental in helping GWGRA bring gay rodeo to the St. Louis area by offering a large amount of support to our association.

John and Gary support the local community by supporting other organizations such as P.A.WS (Pets Are Wonderful Support), and Doorways just to name a few.

John and Gary have been great to work with, have donated items for our fundraisers, getting us contacts for various items needed for the rodeo, providing us with meeting space, setting up Country -Western Dance nights at Magnolia's Bar, allowing us to invade their kitchen for fundraising dinners and making charitable donations to the association. Basically, anything we have asked for they have provided or found a way for us to get it.

Every organization should have the luck of working with supportive individuals such as John and Gary. They are great examples of how the businesses and organizations in the gay community can work together to accomplish common goals.

Please take the opportunity to meet John and Gary this weekend and thank them for their support in bringing gay rodeo to St. Louis and for the support of GWGRA and the Gateway Regional Rodeo.
