This year the Colorado Gay Rodeo Association celebrates 24 years of Gay Rodeo in Colorado. Each year a Grand Marshall is selected to help celebrate this proud heritage. This year we have selected Co-Grand marshals who amplify a history of service to CGRA and our community. Our Co-Grand Marshals for Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo #24 are Vince Montez and Quentin Sims.
Both Vince and Quentin joined CGRA in 1990 and have been committed members and volunteers ever since. Their tireless commitment to the Colorado Gay Community is rewarded with this honor and public "Thank You".
Vine most recently served as CGRA President for 2004 and 2005 and previously as Vice-President, Rodeo Directory, Treasurer and also carried the title of Mr. CGRA in 1993-94. Thank you Vince for your many years of service.
Quentin most recently served as CGRA Vice-President in 2005 and as Membership Chair in 2004. Quentin, aka Naomi La'Rell, was crowned Miss Gay Pride in 1998 and Miss CGRA in 1994. He reigned as Miss IGRA in 1996.
Together they have served as RMRR Financial Managers for the past 8 years and were Co-Sponsorship Chairs for CGRA in 1992. They have both been awarded Lifetime Memberships to CGRA.
Thank you both for being a very important part of the Colorado Gay Rodeo Association and the Colorado Gay Community.
